Video Marketing Specialist
Conceptualize and produce (with hands-on design and layout) all printed and electronic marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, web pages, banner ads, email marketing, interactive presentations) for the division, supporting new, enhanced and existing products and/or services. Project Manage and develop a wide variety of marketing tactics to increase sales, educate customers, and customer retention. Maintain divisional branding with internal and external marketing collateral to promote name awareness and reputation in the market. Develop innovative and budget conscience strategies to support company and division business plans. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify customer needs (internal and external). Requirements Bachelor's Degree - Marketing, business, or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Five to Seven of marketing, communication, or advertising experience preferred, including three to five years experience in the insurance industry and/or marketing corporation or agency. Life and health insurance knowledge. Excellent Verbal and written communication skill. Excellent layout and design skills (print and web) from either previous work experience or education. Working knowledge of sales, advertising marketing techniques. Advanced layout and design skillset, ability to create for print or web. Copywriting skillset, ability to write within divisional ?voice? marketing publications. Knowledge of insurance products and industry. Ability to lead projects while handling multiple projects at one time. PC and Macintosh Platforms. Knowledge in Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint. knowledge of design and illustration software including Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Acrobat Professional and Quark. Proficient in web / audio visual software including Dreamweaver, Flash, Macromedia Contribute, Fireworks, Adobe image ready, Go Live. Working knowledge of video editing and production including filming, editing, slicing and post production. Variable data merge marketing and printing opportunities with merging thru Indesign and Access or Excel, along with merge/print software XMPie. Familiarity with advertising and state compliance laws. Advanced layout and design skillset with ability to fully design simple to complex marketing materials. Strong, creative illustration skillset with ability to create original art, icon elements or photo collages for marketing materials.
